Sports Timing Plus chose to partner with timingsense due to their attention to detail and quality of software and hardware. As you know, ensuring all participants get the correct and precise time is paramount to a successful event. We and timingsense share the same beliefs that there are two vital aspects to consider: reliability in collecting all of the athletes readings and being equipped to take readings that are as precise as possible.
The simplest set up for a running event is with the start and finish lines in the same location. However where this is not possible, we of course can build a solution for your requirements and if required, implement a checkpoint or split along the route. If further timing points are required, you can set up multiple on-course timing points where needed. We will always install double lines (main and backup) to guarantee the readings of the athletes.
